Parting ways with Occam.fi: why it happened and what this means for Studyum
Community, we wish to inform you that we agreed to terminate our partnership with Occam.fi mainly due to differences in values and expectations as regards the project development.
We have tried our best to find a singular solution that both sides will find satisfactory. However, due to the overall Ethereum network update, it was necessary to introduce some additional technical improvements into our bridges for the BSC and Cardano networks to ensure optimal functioning. Therefore, our IDO event date was changed from October 28 to November 18. As a result, we were unable to set a date suitable for all of our launchpad partners.
We understand that some members of the Cardano community might be disappointed over this. However, rest assured that we are doing our best to provide a gateway to the Cardano network as well. We are currently negotiating with several other launchpads to ensure multi-chain access to our platform’s IDO. As soon as the partnerships have been solidified, we’ll announce the news so look forward to that!
We also want to note that this won’t affect our early investors in any way. A multi-chain IDO is a way to include a larger portion of the community by providing access to $STUD at a lower price. All listings, both DEX and CEX, on Uniswap, PancakeSwap, and others will proceed according to the previous schedule: on the second day after the IDO. You are free to continue trading on the secondary market.
Studyum is a vast project that requires a lot of preparation and a lot of effort. This means that we aren’t always able to deliver high-quality results within a short period of time. We don’t see this characteristic as a weakness — we want to cover all our bases and make sure we are not contradicting ourselves and what we stand for along the way. Creating a scalable comprehensive solution is sometimes slow work, but we know it will all be worth it in the end!
We believe everyone deserves a learning system that will help them learn faster and with better end results. In fact, this is one of our core values. So, even though losing the link to the Cardano network that we once had thanks to our partnership with Occam is disappointing, we see it as a bump in the road at most.
We trust you won’t be so easily shaken up by a single loss of partnership, especially because these last two weeks we have made incredible progress with our project.
